| 31st MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show : A resounding success |

The 31st edition of the MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show, which was held at Expo Centre Sharjah from 4-8 October, 2011, attracted a total of 53,340 visitors from 32 countries.
This included both trade and general visitors. Among the trade visitors, a majority were from the GCC States as well as Egypt, Iran, Iraq, India, Pakistan, Russia, and Thailand. A substantial number of the general visitors were from UAE.
The Show hosted over 450 master jewelers from Italy, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, India, Turkey, Lebanon, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and the UAE.
The national pavilions from Italy, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, and India, attracted considerable attention at the event.
Almost all the exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the response received at the Show and several high value sales were reported.
